On the path, at last!
Growing up on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin during the WWII years embedded in me a love of nature and animals. I've drawn and made things for all my life, but avoided committing to art as a vocation because it didn't seem like a practical course to follow.
Nearing the end of my seventh decade, I've thrown practicality to the winds, it seems.
While I have pursued art in the form of copperplate etchings and mixed media, I now find that sculpting and weaving, using whatever materials come to hand, is the course I need to follow.
If the viewer perceives humor in some of the pieces, good for you!
